In our near future, the powerful AI system
“Max” plays an integral part of society.
Humans get a brain implant at birth, with a
personal assistant to guide them through
life. This assistant makes sure that everyone
stays content with what they have, and what
they get - and most importantly - that
everyone stays in their place.
It keeps order, but not everyone can be
contained. John is a trouble minded office
worker that can’t escape the feeling that
something is wrong with his life situation.
The claustrophobic sensation of never being
able to be alone - not even in your own
thoughts - drives him to the point of a
mental breakdown. But, fortunately, Max is
there to help..
